Job Title: Lead Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team at Bluewater Technologies Group. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for leading integration projects, forecasting job needs, and fully commissioning systems. You will also be responsible for measuring job completion readiness, leading post-project discussions, and following and enforcing QAT processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration projects with multiple staff and subcontractors to ensure timely completion
  • Forecast job needs, including materials and manpower, to ensure successful project execution
  • Fully commission systems, including setting audio levels, color balancing displays, and testing system operation
  • Measure job completion readiness for the engineering and programming team
  • Lead post-project discussions to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Follow and enforce QAT processes to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Make recommendations based on applicable codes, standards, and best practices during installation
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and install supervisors to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • CTS-I certification
  • Advanced network knowledge, including setup of Wi-Fi networks and AV over IP devices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Committed to continuous self-development and staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to load programmer-provided control code
  • Valid Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron login credentials
  • Possess a current valid driver's license
  • Presentable and professional in appearance
