Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs on production equipment and supporting machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance of all vehicles and associated equipment, including forklifts, man lifts, motorized carts, and trucks.
  • Assist in scheduled and unplanned maintenance of plant equipment, including CNC machine tools, overhead cranes, mist collectors, bag houses, oxyfuel, plasma cutting equipment, and compressed air systems.
  • Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance of facility buildings and grounds, including HVAC systems, sprinkler systems, plumbing and sewer, lighting, gates, fencing, manual machine tools, power tools, hand tools, saws, presses, lifting devices, and office furniture.
  • Assist with special project tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager and/or Project Lead.
  • Maintain the maintenance inventory and initiate purchase requisitions for parts to repair machines.
  • Record maintenance activities, including manuals and maintenance logs for each machine.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Valid Driver's License with no serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.
  • Two (2) years of experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or moving vehicle maintenance OR degree/certificate in a maintenance or mechanical-related field.
  • Ability to multi-task and professionally respond to quickly changing priorities.
Working Environment

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, and equipment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the working environment is often loud, and the use of job-appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required.
