Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at International Imaging Materials, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fabricating and machining various equipment, as well as installing new systems and performing preventative and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Identify and address malfunctions of plant operational equipment, monitor equipment operation and performance, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Capital Equipment Projects: Install new equipment and systems, create work instructions for production processes, and train personnel on new equipment and systems.
  • Internal Product and Process Improvements: Generate ideas for continuous improvement projects and assist with implementation.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize low-cost projects and submit large projects for approval.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Education: Degree in an applicable field preferred.
  • Skills: Electrical or mechanical background, mills/milling machines, lathes, welding (MIG/TIG), assembly of project improvement equipment, and strong math skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs.
  • Teamwork: Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
