Compensation: $36-$42/HR DOE


Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute maintenance tasks on existing manufacturing machinery, develop and maintain new equipment and tools, and collaborate with various departments to guarantee the production of high-quality products.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the seamless operation of manufacturing machinery and facilities by diagnosing issues and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, mechanical systems, and infrastructure.
  2. Service hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance, recommending and executing repairs as necessary.
  4. Verify the quality of repairs by spot-checking equipment post-repair.
  5. Ensure that all preventive maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled.
  6. Implement enhancements to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  7. Work alongside engineering and production teams to resolve equipment-related challenges and refine manufacturing processes.
  8. Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies during maintenance activities.
  9. Occasionally operate forklifts as required.
  10. Fabricate necessary repair components promptly to minimize downtime of machinery.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols.
  13. Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration across locations and departments.
  14. Provide support in various areas with a positive attitude.
  15. Exemplify and uphold the values of Service, Quality, and Integrity.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Assist in production areas as needed.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Competencies
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in welding and metal cutting.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Experience with vertical milling machines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Logical reasoning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively perform the essential duties outlined above.
