Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Waste Systems Technician to join our team at MSR-FSR. As an Industrial Waste Systems Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating industrial wastewater treatment and purification systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Industrial Wastewater Systems: Ensure the efficient operation of industrial wastewater treatment and purification systems, including biological treatment systems.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures to ensure the optimal performance of industrial wastewater systems.
  • Utilize Quality Systems and Diagnose Process Issues: Apply quality systems and diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve process issues in industrial treatment systems.
  • Maintain Analytical Equipment: Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of analytical equipment used to monitor industrial wastewater systems.
  • Collect and Analyze Samples: Collect and analyze liquid and solid samples from industrial wastewater systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize Maximo Maintenance Planning Software: Use Maximo Maintenance Planning software to schedule and manage maintenance activities for industrial wastewater systems.
  • Interact with Factory and Stakeholders: Collaborate with factory personnel and other stakeholders to ensure the effective operation of industrial wastewater systems.
  • Treat Studies of Chemical Constituents: Conduct studies on the treatment of different chemical constituents in industrial wastewater systems.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, chemical, or water/purification engineering) or equivalent technical degree with 1+ years of experience in industrial wastewater operations or facilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Maximo Maintenance Planning software, SCADA and Cimplicity control systems, and analytical equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
