Job Summary

This is an open continuous announcement for a Physician (Endocrinologist) position at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred as vacancies become available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other related diseases.
  • Perform ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirate (FNA) thyroid biopsies as needed.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in endocrinology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • United States citizenship.
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
