Position Overview:
- Guide students through experiential learning in our medical assistant program.
- This is a part-time role with classes scheduled on Saturdays from 7am to 6pm.
- The program spans 24 weeks and is conducted in a clinical environment to replicate actual job conditions.
- Leverage your clinical expertise to empower students to thrive as entry-level medical assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with the provided curriculum and prepare thoroughly for each session.
- Showcase medical techniques and support students during hands-on practice.
- Assess student progress and tailor your teaching methods to their individual needs.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Deliver educational content through lectures and practical demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of experience in the medical assistant field is required.
- CMA, RMA, or CCMA certifications are strongly preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is highly desirable.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for educating others are essential.
