Nursing Educator

Gateway Community Health Center is seeking a skilled Nursing Educator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on various aspects of nutrition and health.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs on nutrition and health for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions on nutrition and health topics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and training on nutrition and health topics to healthcare professionals.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized education plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Registered nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of three years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification.
- Experience in providing education and training on nutrition and health topics.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and educational theories.
