Position Summary:

We are currently in search of a Lead Electronics Engineer to oversee PC board troubleshooting within our Electronics Factory. This role entails spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing design and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct significant and potentially intricate technical investigations.
  • Lead capability and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessments to enhance quality; oversee advancements in PC board testing.
  • Engineer and facilitate the safe, high-quality, cost-effective, ergonomic, and environmentally sustainable production of PC boards.
  • Create documentation and troubleshooting manuals for new product launches.
  • Address and resolve issues related to testing, manufacturing, and design to bolster production efficiency.
  • Proactively implement enhancements to increase first-pass yield.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other personnel to elevate the quality, manufacturability, and value of PC board designs.
  • Engage professionally with external resources such as equipment suppliers and technical organizations.
  • Oversee the evaluation and execution of employee suggestions.
  • Perform cost analyses and initiate cost-reduction strategies.
  • Develop and continuously refine effective training materials and work instructions for production staff.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of board design and associated design tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics.
  • A strong grasp of Lean methodology tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, demonstrating excellent organizational skills to manage diverse assignments and shifting priorities.
  • Possess and apply extensive knowledge and experience to projects that yield significant positive impacts on service levels, quality, and value.
