Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production environment by monitoring system availability and health.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance reliability, quality, and speed of software delivery.
  • Assess and optimize system performance, foster innovation, and anticipate customer needs.
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for distributed software applications.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to aid in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Review incidents post-resolution and support escalation and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Develop sustainable systems through automation and enhancements.
  • Assess existing applications and recommend improvements for system performance.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of systems to ensure integrity and availability.
  • Implement automation scripts and explore new automation opportunities.
  • Design and evaluate automation tools and processes.
  • Deploy RPA components and assist in developing IT configuration management practices.
  • Maintain configuration items for accuracy and completeness in the CMDB.
  • Oversee ticket tracking systems, provide production support, and manage routine operational requests.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by standardizing data definitions.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Specialized Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in programming with high-level languages such as Python, Java, and Ruby.Experience with NOC tools, network management systems, and monitoring applications.Familiarity with robotics, AI, and machine learning technologies.Expertise in maintaining automation systems.Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure and cloud solutions.Knowledge of IT systems and monitoring tools.Experience in managing and supporting virtualized environments.Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for system improvements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Demonstrated decision-making skills.About Spirit Airlines:
