The RES Consultant Group is a CPA firm that values flexibility and innovation. We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager with expertise in Real Estate and Construction to join our team.
Estimated Salary: $112,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience and location.
Job Description:
We're looking for a skilled professional to oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, and supervise project teams. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing complex returns, researching tax issues, and collecting accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Active CPA license required
- 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting, including working in a paperless environment, reviewing complex returns, and managing client engagements
- Experience reviewing complex 1065's, preferably real estate/construction clients; 1031 exchanges; special allocations; cost segregation studies; and analysis of partnership agreements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Organized, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to new technology and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tax software (CCH Axcess & Engagement)
