Kitchen Utility Assistant

About the JobThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be part of a dynamic team. As a Kitchen Utility Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen spaces.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service or a related field. They will be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces. They will also remove trash, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assist with banquet table and front-of-house set-up.
Responsibilities- Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces
- Removes trash and transfers it to designated containers
- Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products
- Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed
- Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
We offer a competitive salary of $19.25 per hour, as well as opportunities for training and development.
