As a key member of the Production Control team, the Lead Supply Chain Planner plays a vital role in overseeing all aspects of overhaul and repair operations. This position is essential for managing procurement activities and ensuring the smooth coordination of all Outside Service Provider (OSP) engagements.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing dynamic order processing on a daily basis to transform sales forecasts into purchase requisitions and orders.
  • Issuing repair shop orders accompanied by necessary documentation and specifications.
  • Organizing and maintaining all Standard Repair Process records.
  • Handling all OSP requests efficiently.
  • Updating and managing shop orders as needed.
  • Guaranteeing product availability for production lines by monitoring and expediting shop orders.
  • Supporting the Stock Keeper with inventory cycle count entries.
  • Actively engaging in daily Gemba and other production control meetings to report on progress.
  • Contributing to the adoption and application of lean methodologies within the workplace.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in constraint-based management within a "Manufactured or Engineered to Order" setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly IFS and SAP.
  • Ability to understand work in progress to effectively schedule supply flow supporting production needs.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with U.S. Defense requirements.
  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Accounting; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and materials management within a manufacturing context.
  • Preferred certifications include CPSM (ISM), CPM (ISM), CPIM (APICS), or CSCP (APICS).
