About the Role
AWS Cloud Optimization Success is on the lookout for a skilled Solutions Architect who will create illustrative scenarios and interactive labs to showcase optimal practices for deploying workloads in the cloud.

This individual will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to enhance their capabilities in executing Well-Architected Framework Reviews. They will utilize tools such as AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS Health to analyze results, promoting the resolution of critical issues or enhancements identified in the workloads.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage comfortably with both technical implementation teams and executive leadership, including CTOs and CFOs.

Our mission is to assist customers in developing cloud-native applications and embracing innovative technological solutions. We are enhancing a content-rich product that leverages advanced tools to provide the right guidance to customers as they build and manage their workloads on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will need to demonstrate technical expertise and credibility in developing solution-oriented skills among AWS partners and customers, particularly in conducting AWS Well-Architected Framework Reviews. You will implement best practices to address any critical issues and educate stakeholders on improving their implementations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining example workloads and hands-on labs for partner organizations.
  • Formulating and executing a strategy to enhance awareness and usage of AWS within partner and customer communities, emphasizing the significance of AWS Well-Architected best practices.
  • Defining specific technical enablement strategies that address customer business challenges, enabling partners and customers to achieve greater success on AWS.

You will also participate in delivering Cloud Optimization Success Workshops and lead labs to empower various partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide leadership for technical relationships, addressing specific implementation queries using tools and processes.

Additionally, you will develop, refine, and conduct multi-day workshops, facilitate whiteboarding sessions, and respond to inquiries as partners or customers engage with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

This role offers the chance to delve deeply into AWS technologies while collaborating with some of the industry's top technical talent.

Basic Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 4+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Familiarity with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
