Job Summary:

As a Clinical Psychologist on our Child Team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including test administration and interpretation, to diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapies.
  • Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in staff conferences and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • California Psychologist License within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a mental health clinic or hospital setting.
  • Experience with psychological testing and assessment, including administration and interpretation of standardized tests.
  • Knowledge of child development and family dynamics, with a focus on promoting healthy relationships and outcomes.
