POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Social Media Content Creation Intern will play a crucial role in developing engaging content across various media platforms that aligns with our brand vision. This internship will emphasize the creation of social media content and related marketing strategies. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, this role will collaborate with our media team to assist with external and internal video production, editing, and animation projects. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence for two days each week.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this internship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capture, edit, and produce social media content (GIFs, photos, videos, etc.) for our brand portfolio.
- Develop original short-form content specifically for Four Loko and Mamitas products.
- Edit and compile captured content to create event and digital campaign recaps that convey positive marketing narratives using digital assets.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance our brand channel strategies, supporting the ideation process across brand social calendars to deliver fresh and relevant content.
- Effectively manage priorities and timelines across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Cinematography, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in social media and video production, with a focus on beverage or consumer packaged goods marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail across multiple projects.
- Interest in current pop culture trends, with the ability to track relevant developments in entertainment, music, fashion, gaming, etc.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic with a brand-centric focus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
