Overview of Responsibilities:

The Clinical Assistant Professor primarily engages in delivering direct medical care to adult patients in various outpatient settings. Responsibilities may extend to inpatient services at affiliated hospitals. The role also encompasses educational duties involving both undergraduate and graduate medical training.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing comprehensive outpatient care to adult internal medicine patients.
  • Serving as a ward attending in inpatient units.
  • Conducting inpatient medical consultations.
  • Supervising residents in outpatient continuity practices.
  • Participating in the education and mentorship of medical students and residents.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and hold an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited internal medicine residency program. A valid and unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligibility to apply is required.
