Position Overview:
We are in search of skilled Automation Engineers at various levels to contribute to our client's on-site Site Capacity team. This role is essential for ensuring that innovative processes and machinery adhere to both local and international regulations. The ideal candidate will take charge of designing, executing, and sustaining process control systems that cater to the evolving demands of clients, business operations, and compliance standards. This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in pioneering projects aimed at enhancing operational productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both local and global project teams to guarantee that process designs meet all regulatory standards.
- Establish interface agreements and synchronize requirements with equipment suppliers.
- Formulate and implement strategies to maintain and enhance process control systems in alignment with production schedules.
- Develop and oversee budget allocations for system upkeep and enhancements.
- Uphold automation standards, specifications, and comprehensive maintenance plans.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and inspections related to process control systems.
- Provide coaching and training to colleagues and stakeholders on automation and process control best practices.
- Utilize methodologies for systematic problem-solving, process enhancement, and project management.
- Ensure all modifications comply with stringent quality and risk management protocols.
- Support various corporate and local IT initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 7 years of engineering experience in process-oriented manufacturing, utilities, and/or packaging systems.
- Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, and MS SQL systems.
- Strong project management capabilities with a proven history of successful project execution and completion.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively in a team setting.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally move equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 35 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to work in various physical positions, including climbing ladders and working in elevated or confined spaces.
- Availability to work in environments requiring the use of hearing protection and other safety gear.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
