Supply Chain Specialist

Role Overview

As a vital member of our Data Center Solutions/Silent-Aire team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of inbound and outbound materials and resources within the organization. Your proactive approach will help in anticipating challenges and formulating effective strategies to address them.

Your organizational skills will be key as you leverage your logistics expertise to foster and maintain robust relationships with essential suppliers, clients, and various departments across the company. A hands-on, tactical mindset is essential for achieving success in this role.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the flow of materials and resources to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate interplant transfers of components and materials through internal couriers.
  • Prepare shipping documentation for submission to relevant parties, including drivers and customs officials.
  • Identify and resolve issues to keep projects and processes on track.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish delivery schedules for products and resources.
  • Ensure ongoing communication and workflow between Production, Shipping, and Logistics departments to confirm adherence to schedules.
  • Work with contracted couriers to facilitate accurate and timely product deliveries to customers, managing delivery timing and packing schedules.
  • Oversee the movement of manufactured products between facilities and storage areas.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by contracted couriers during product deliveries.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Training in project management, scheduling, leadership, and time management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the transportation and logistics sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adept at solving business challenges and developing effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with guidelines, direct responses, and customer experience management.
  • Strong organizational abilities to coordinate and manage materials effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with project management and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive and enthusiastic about achieving exceptional business outcomes through innovative project execution.
