Position Summary:
We are in search of a motivated and skilled Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic workforce.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in carpet cleaning, both residential and commercial, along with exceptional customer service abilities and the capacity to lead a team of technicians.

This role offers a competitive base salary along with an attractive commission structure for upselling additional services and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:
    Oversee, train, and guide a team of carpet cleaning technicians.
    Organize daily work schedules and ensure timely job execution.
    Uphold high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Carpet Cleaning Services:
    Deliver professional carpet cleaning services utilizing industry-standard techniques and equipment.
    Conduct inspections of carpets before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
    Address customer inquiries and provide expert guidance on carpet maintenance.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions.
    Present and clarify additional services and products to clients, emphasizing their benefits.
    Ensure a positive customer experience through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Sales and Upselling:
    Identify opportunities to promote additional services such as upholstery cleaning, stain protection, and deodorizing treatments.
    Market and sell maintenance packages and carpet care products.
    Earn commissions based on successful upselling of services and products.
  • Equipment Management:
    Operate and maintain carpet cleaning equipment in optimal working condition.
    Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment as necessary.
    Keep a clean and organized work vehicle and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Accurately complete job reports, customer invoices, and payment processing.
    Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
    Provide feedback to management regarding service improvements and customer trends.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 3 years in professional carpet cleaning.
    Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Skills:
    Strong knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Proven ability to upsell services and meet sales targets.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Other Requirements:
    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
    Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay Structure:
Base Pay + Upsell Commission (Hourly)
