  • Transport cleaning supplies and equipment using wheeled carts.
  • Perform floor maintenance by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing using appropriate tools.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment to ensure a clean environment.
  • Keep storage areas and cleaning carts organized and well-stocked.
  • Clear debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, applying wax and polish as necessary.
  • Report maintenance issues, including burned-out lights and leaks, to the Building Maintenance Department.
  • Disinfect cleaning equipment and supplies using appropriate sanitizing methods.
  • Dust window blinds to maintain cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Protect residents, guests, and property by observing safety measures and reporting any damage or theft.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and arrange furniture and decorations for events.
  • Utilize new equipment properly and follow safety procedures.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Work Environment:

The position involves working in a residential setting, primarily focusing on cleaning common and waiting areas while being mindful of chemical cleaning solutions.

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, and navigate tight spaces.
  • Capability to lift, move, or carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to push cleaning equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficient in handling and manipulating objects and equipment.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms and perform repetitive motions.

Position Type:

This is a non-exempt hourly position, with schedules determined by property needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in managing a housekeeping department.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their proper usage.
  • Familiarity with standard cleaning equipment in a residential setting.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
