Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in providing technical support and clinical expertise to healthcare professionals and patients. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field sales staff, involving CRM products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical clinical and programming assistance, primarily in support of sales/clinical team
- Integrate into all accounts; build trust and relationships; establish strong rapport with customers
- With gained product knowledge, become proficient in complex programming and case support
- Interact with customers and assigned institutions, physicians, and technicians, purchasing agents and administration staff
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
- Provide technical (implant and/or procedural case coverage) support in response to field inquiries on a 24-hour, on-call basis
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences or a related field; or equivalent experience required
- Requires ability to become certified on all CRM products
- 0-2 years' experience in medical device or a related discipline
- Ability to apply engineering skills and abilities to interpret and solve complex clinical problems
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to concentrate on detail and work independently
- Work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals; must be capable of coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively
- Must possess comprehensive personal computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials
- Must be able to take rotational on-call schedule: supporting duties beyond business hours during on-call shifts
- Must be able to work flexible hours and complete extensive training program
