Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT code to support business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines using Snowflake features and Azure Pipelines
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT tools, such as dbt, Fivetran, or Informatica
  • Work with enterprise database solutions in cloud environments
  • Collaborate with Agile software development teams
  • Participate in ETL Quality circle discussions
  • Assist Data Platform Operations with building integrated and robust data pipelines
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related professional experience, including 3+ years in data warehousing development
  • Experience with developing data pipelines using Snowflake features and Azure Pipelines
  • Hands-on development experience with ETL/ELT tools
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments
  • Adherence to sound engineering principles and practices
Preferred Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and arrive at efficient ETL solutions
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional local travel to Partners HealthCare sites, vendors, and/or conferences. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
