Job Summary

St. John Fisher University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Nurse Anesthesia Program. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the program director and assistant program director, assist with anesthesia simulation equipment, and maintain accurate records and databases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with Anesthesia Simulation Equipment: Set up and take down anesthesia simulation equipment as needed for training sessions and simulation experiences. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
2. Provide administrative support to the program director and assistant program director, including scheduling, registration, and interview coordination.
3. Maintain accurate records and databases, including student data, program materials, and accreditation requirements.
4. Liaise with other key offices on campus, including Graduate Admissions, Registrar, and Facilities.
5. Assist with special events, including mailing and receiving acknowledgements, arranging for parking and catering as needed.

Requirements

* A.A.S. Degree in business, office management, or similar degree and/or 2+ years of relevant office experience;
* Experience working in a team environment and ability to multi-task;
* Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures, particularly in anesthesia or healthcare education;
* Strong skills in creation, maintenance, and integration of data base information;
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint;

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a well-lighted, well-ventilated, and pleasant work area. The position requires the ability to move and/or assist with moving anesthesia equipment with assistive devices.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $17.25-$20.30 per hour. The University offers a competitive total rewards package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
