We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team at Allen Tate Insurance Services, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling insurance coverage inquiries and concerns, and conducting specific service and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries and concerns regarding insurance policies and services.
  • Work with customers to pre-qualify and understand their insurance needs, gather necessary data, research policy options, and finalize coverage.
  • Set appointments and/or client calls to review existing policies, revise liability limits, and explore other coverage needs.
  • Confer with customers to provide detailed information about insurance products and services, quote new business, and process renewals and/or cancel accounts.
  • Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts at every service contact.
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the issue, and selecting the best solution to solve the issue.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the agency management system.
Requirements
  • Hold the required insurance license and have a minimum of two years of personal lines insurance account management experience, as well as a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
  • Display strong customer focus and excellent phone manner, with strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent math and reading skills.
  • Have the ability and tact to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems.
