Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to individuals and businesses to sell equipment in a defined sales area.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and support to customers.
  • Provide competitive information, including price quotes and bundling with attachments, to establish negotiated pricing.
  • Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales inventory.
  • Develop a call list and maintain information monthly.
  • Review sales reports and track gas and product receipts as expense reports.
  • Maintain product knowledge on the features and benefits of equipment for sale and rental at the dealership.
  • Analyze sales opportunities, solve customer problems, and participate in sales promotions.
  • Monitor competitive activity and products.
  • Maintain customer data and understand various financing options for the sale of new and used equipment.
  • Attend sales events, including training, meetings, and seminars related to the industry.
Requirements
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within a defined sales area.
  • Knowledge of products related to the New Holland and Bobcat brands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
