Job Title: Director of Procurement Services

Marist College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement Services to join our Business Affairs team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function and providing strategic guidance to ensure the College's purchasing processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve procurement processes
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate procurement risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality goods and services
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, procurement, or supply chain management
  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving procurement processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, including those related to public procurement
