Job Summary

The Loudoun County Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking highly skilled candidates to fill two Management Analyst III positions focused on operating, capital, and grant budgets. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and implement assigned budgets, ensuring accurate financial planning and management
  • Monitor departmental expenses, account reconciliation, and analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Approve purchases, prepare budget adjustments, and perform other duties as assigned
  • Manage grant-related activities, including reviewing pre- and post-award grant applications, monitoring, and facilitating reimbursement requests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, and three years of related work experience in government operating or capital budgeting and planning. Prior grant experience is preferred but not required. You will also need strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet budget deadlines.
