Disability Evaluation Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Disability Evaluation Practitioner to join our team at MRG Exams. In this role, you will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
You will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran. Then, you will electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
The Disability Evaluation Practitioner will NOT make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations. This position performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average.
Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
- Electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficiently use a computer.
Salary:
- $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

- This is an IN-PERSON position with a set schedule during normal business hours and NO on-call shifts.
- All work is performed in a clinical setting.
