Job Description: Veterans Care Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Veterans Care Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams. In this role, you will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

You will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran. Then, you will electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.

The Veterans Care Specialist will NOT treat or prescribe medication. This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans.

Key Qualifications:

  • Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments.
  • Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions.
  • Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Proficiently use a computer.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience

Work Environment:

  • This is an IN-PERSON position with a set schedule during normal business hours and NO on-call shifts.
  • All work is performed in a clinical setting.
