About the JobWe are seeking an LPN with less than 12 months of experience to join our Novice Nurse Training Program. This program is designed to provide a unique training opportunity for new grad LPNs and those with less than one year of experience. You will partner with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide real-time feedback, training opportunities, and mentorship.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention and progress toward established goals
- Intervene, as applicable, to changes in condition and report such changes to appropriate supervisor and/or physician
- Document all physician collaboration/coordination of care in the medical record and communicate this information as needed
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment including universal precautions
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active LPN License
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-Ray, if applicable
