Position OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Thermal Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our Thermal & Hydraulic/ Technology Engineering (THTE) unit. In this position, you will engage in the design, construction, and support of thermal and hydraulic testing systems, working alongside a talented team of professionals to deliver innovative testing solutions. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, design new systems, and troubleshoot existing setups, playing a significant role in the Naval Reactors program.
Primary Responsibilities- Design fluid-mechanical systems and associated hardware
- Execute ASME code calculations and analyze piping flow
- Supervise the installation and upkeep of testing systems
- Choose and acquire necessary equipment
- Integrate advanced technologies into system designs
Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering or science-related discipline, along with relevant professional experience. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with pressure equipment, proficiency in 3D CAD software, and a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
