Comprehensive Primary Care is in search of a Regional Practice Manager to enhance our operational team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the administrative and operational excellence of our Primary Care Practices situated in the DC metropolitan area. Our practices are conveniently located within close proximity to each other and are easily accessible via public transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple practices, including staff management, scheduling, and patient flow optimization.
- Collaborate with human resources, unit leaders, Medical Assistants, Front Desk Leads, and CPC leadership to recruit, train, and nurture staff talent.
- Facilitate monthly staff meetings at each site, ensuring effective communication of essential operational metrics to providers.
- Work alongside the Practice Administrator and physician unit leaders to improve operational workflows, address challenges, and maximize capacity and productivity.
- Design, implement, and sustain a comprehensive orientation program that familiarizes staff with departmental policies, procedures, and their specific roles.
- Support quality enhancement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, medical record management, and payer requirements.
- Provide guidance to Medical Assistant and Front Desk Leads regarding scheduling, paid time off, overtime, expenditures, and supply management in accordance with CPC policies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Practice Manager or multi-practice leadership role is required.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in medical groups or comparable healthcare positions.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, population health, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in effective staff retention, development, and team building is essential.
- A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude are crucial.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities are necessary.
