Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by adhering to company standards and guidelines.
- Minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practices and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and responsive to customer needs.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping and cleaning floors, cleaning and organizing the store mop room, and maintaining a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices.
- Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards set by Food Lion.
- Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Wear the Food Lion uniform complete with name badge, when on duty, and maintain a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
The Quality Assurance Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials. The associate will also be required to stand for long periods, walk short distances, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
