Job Summary:

Food Lion is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to maintain high standards of quality and safety in our stores. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive shopping experience

Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping and cleaning floors, and performing weekly cleaning tasks in the Produce, Market, and Deli Departments

Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations

Identify and correct unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents

Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to use technical information to solve problems and learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations

Working Conditions:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established volume activity standards

Ability to tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time

Ability to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functions
