POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves advanced troubleshooting, resolving application challenges, and collaborating with business partners to identify and document requirements. This includes researching, analyzing options, designing, and testing technical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with end-users and IT resources to troubleshoot and resolve application security issues.
  • Explore solutions for Change Requests, presenting both functional and technical options, which may involve modifications to existing modules or the implementation of new ones.
  • Act as the primary expert for Oracle application security within your areas of expertise.
  • Evaluate departmental requests, gather business requirements, and work with relevant teams to interpret these requirements.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and develop functional and technical design specifications using current methodologies and tools.
  • Provide recommendations on the efficient use of application features to enhance user experience.
  • Create and maintain test plans and scripts.
  • Adhere to departmental standards and best practices, including development and application standards.
  • Deliver timely reporting to management as needed.
  • Understand integration tools available for connecting application modules with other applications or vendors.
  • Mentor team members on best practices related to current technologies.
  • Build effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to expand technical, functional, and analytical expertise.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in IT.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Scrum/Agile and Waterfall, is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience in analytical, project management, and client-facing roles is preferred.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE WITH:
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud, specifically with Oracle ERP and HCM/Payroll applications.
  • Understanding of Oracle application security, including job roles and data roles.
  • Collaboration with business teams to develop new application security roles.
  • Managing Oracle Cloud patching processes.
  • Administering profile settings and options within Oracle Fusion modules.
  • Oracle instance management, including scheduling refreshes and coordinating with multiple teams.
  • Detail-oriented tasks related to security access via Oracle application roles.
  • Identifying data access conflicts requiring segregation of duties.
  • Setting up security for BI Publisher reports.
  • Understanding Oracle ESS jobs and monitoring processes.
  • Researching and troubleshooting with excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Generating reports for Oracle security audits.
  • Ability to respectfully challenge processes.
  • Administration of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Full implementation lifecycle experience, following SDLC or similar methodologies.
