Job Summary

At HNTB, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Engineer to join our team of employee-owners. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Consult with project managers to perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery.
  • Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for complex and cross-discipline projects.
  • Leverage technical knowledge and experience to address design-related issues or concerns.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project completion.
  • Mentor, train, and review work of junior engineer staff.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience, or
  • PhD in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant experience - Bridge Design
  • Professional Engineer
  • NJDOT and NJTA experience
