About the Role

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Parsippany, NJ; Mount Laurel, NJ; or King of Prussia, PA. As a key member of our site development design group, you will perform a variety of civil engineering functions, including technical work, project management, and client communication.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general civil engineering duties, including technical work, project management, and client communication.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and county/agency review staff.
  • Prepare technical reports, permit documents, memorandums, and other written communication.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Dewberry engineering practices and standards, as well as other Dewberry-specific software programs.

Requirements
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE license required.
  • 8 years of progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ area.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management Design techniques.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
