Job Title: Senior Survey Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and analysis of internal and external surveys, including overseeing the creation of surveys, providing summaries of data, and ensuring accurate statistical analyses and data merging.
  • Conduct and manage survey research of the GW population, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff, focusing on education and services provided by GW.
  • Train staff and student employees on designing tables, graphs, and visualizations to display results and data, and summarize data for use by deans, vice presidents, department chairs, and directors.
  • Develop procedures for and train staff on systematizing data collection and data cleaning for the office and collaborating offices.
  • Manage the University-wide online course evaluation process, including updating the website, inviting department participation, and solving access problems.
  • Supervise and train work-study students and student assistants on coding data, using spreadsheets, graphic programs, content analysis, and designing surveys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of survey science research methods, statistical methods, and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SAS, Tableau, and Qualtrics.
  • Experience with relational databases and business intelligence software.

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the possibility of telework. The position is based at GW's Foggy Bottom Campus in Washington, DC.
