Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team at Interstate Sealant & Concrete. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with diesel and gasoline engines, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Repair and replace defective or worn parts, and test components to ensure proper function.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment and components as needed.
  • Occasionally travel to jobsites out of state to repair vehicles and equipment.
About You
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working on pickup trucks, heavy trucks, construction equipment, and trailers.
  • You are able to provide your own basic hand tools and have the ability to weld (a plus).
  • You have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • You are able to frequently lift, push, pull, and/or move 50 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
