Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Imaging and Diagnostic Services to lead our radiology team at Houston Methodist West Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving innovation in diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of radiology services, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and satisfaction
  • Lead a team of radiology professionals, including technologists, radiologists, and support staff
  • Collaborate with medical staff, executives, and hospital leaders to ensure alignment with hospital goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Develop and manage department budgets and resources
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diagnostic imaging
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least 6 years of experience in radiology services, with 2 years in a management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in radiology information systems and other hospital systems
