Technical Program Manager III Role

As a Technical Program Manager III at Amazon, you'll work alongside best-in-class inventors and innovators. You'll have the opportunity to create meaningful experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers, impacting millions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with significant impact.
  • Accountable for the overall strategy and driving teams to deliver.
  • Understand systems, their limitations, scaling factors, and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned.
  • Make smart trade-offs (e.g., time vs. effort vs. features).
  • Partner with customers and engineering teams to determine project priorities.
  • Assess development processes, test plans, and operations/maintenance requirements.
  • Streamline and eliminate excess process.
  • Influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate architecture problems.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
