About the Role
The Medical Assistant II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients.
This role performs all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work.
The Medical Assistant II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed practitioners with patient care duties as directed.
- Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role, including clinical and administrative tasks.
- Work in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of Healthcare experience.
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
