Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a Tax Associate, you will work closely with clients from various industries to provide tax services and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
  • Calculate tax extension or estimate payments
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state where the office is located
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work

Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act

The salary range for this role is $68,000, and total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
