About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Consultant to join our dynamic team at the Center for Social Dynamics. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in designing and supervising evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular session visits for assigned caseloads to provide individualized parent education, supervise the implementation of programs, and monitor completion of necessary documentation.
  • Provide in-field training to direct reports, educate families on maintaining a consistent schedule, and efficiently communicate CSD's policies.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including treatment plans, data sheets, behavioral support plans, progress reports, and discharge reports.
  • Monitor daily direct service appointments, maintain up-to-date records, and write, sign, and submit progress reports to funding sources by established deadlines.
  • Meet daily and monthly billable hours goals, provide clinical support and training to assigned teams, and evaluate clinical performance of supervisees.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field, such as psychology, childhood development, or special education.
  • BCBA credential required.
  • Some related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Knowledge of methodologies, such as ABA, ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, and PRT, and familiarity with School Continuum of Services and IEPs.
  • Sensitivity to working with diverse populations and ability to travel to and work in multiple program service areas.
