Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brief Intervention Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide behavioral health interventions and consultation to clients, improving their psychosocial functioning. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that values diversity and encourages individuals with personal experiences to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct brief screenings and interventions, as well as complete diagnostic assessments, to identify client needs.
  • Provide behavioral and cognitive interventions, and consult with case managers to develop short-term goals.
  • Identify at-risk clients and develop strategies to prevent psychological or physical deterioration.
  • Collaborate with local behavioral health providers to establish referral pathways and ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in our electronic health record system.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, and adhere to CATCH policies and professional code of ethics.
  • Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as assigned, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current professional license in the state of Idaho (LPC, LMSW, etc.).
  • Experience working in behavioral health, conducting screenings and clinical care, and formulating DSM IV diagnoses.
  • Strong clinical written and verbal communication skills, and experience working with disenfranchised populations.
