Lead Finishing Supervisor

Summary:
The Lead Finishing Supervisor operates as a key figure in the Finishing department, overseeing daily workflows, scheduling, and labor distribution. This role involves making informed decisions related to productivity, quality assurance, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the oversight of machinery and team members.
• Organizes, schedules, and directs tasks for the Finishing and Utility teams.
• Maintains accurate departmental documentation.
• Advocates for safe working conditions, monitors corrective measures, and provides constructive feedback to staff.
• Observes manufacturing processes to guarantee maximum efficiency, quality, and output.
• Engages in departmental meetings as required.
• Occasionally addresses equipment and process issues.
• Conducts general inspections and sorting tasks throughout the facility in compliance with safety regulations.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office, Syteline, and ALIGN APPS.
Language Proficiency:
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence. Proficient in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, customers, and colleagues.
Reasoning Skills:
• Ability to apply common sense to execute detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions. Capable of addressing issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
