Executive Director Contracts Job Description

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking an experienced Executive Director Contracts to join our St. Petersburg, FL team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and fulfillment of contract requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct all activities in the organization's contracts administration function
  • Oversee the preparation and administration of bids, proposals, negotiations, and contracts
  • Direct the contracts administration staff and guide compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and develop policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff
  • Provide strategies on the negotiation of complex or high-value contracts
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • 12-15 years' experience in a relevant function
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant degree, experience within the defense industry, and preferred professional procurement/contracting certifications
