Job Summary

The Safal Group is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join its team in Africa. As a key member of the manufacturing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes in various locations across the continent.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate overhead cranes to lift and transfer coils, profiled sheets, pallets, and other loads as assigned.
  • Ensure the safety of equipment, loads being transferred, and personnel involved in the operation.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and autonomous maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Report any crane abnormalities or defects to the Pickling Line Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification: KCSE and a certificate in crane operation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in crane operations.
  • Knowledge of 5K and Autonomous Maintenance principles.
