Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Crane Operator to become a vital part of our workforce.

As a
Crane Operator, your primary duty will involve the operation of various crane types to lift, transport, and position substantial materials and machinery.

Your skills in materials management and heavy machinery operation will play a key role in guaranteeing the safe and effective functioning of our logistics and distribution operations.


Compensation:
$21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cranes to lift, transport, and position materials and machinery in compliance with safety regulations
  • Conduct preoperational inspections on cranes to confirm they are functioning correctly
  • Secure loads safely using appropriate rigging methods
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting tasks
  • Follow directives from supervisors and comply with all safety standards
  • Inspect and maintain crane machinery, reporting any concerns or malfunctions
  • Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of materials handling techniques and industry best practices
  • Experience in operating a range of cranes, including Hi-Lo and Clamp trucks
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery safely
  • Mechanical aptitude to address minor issues with crane machinery
  • Understanding of shipping and receiving processes along with warehouse management systems
